The Rolf Benz lifestyle is on display at several selected festival locations. The Berlinale VIP Club in the Grand Hyatt Berlin has been completely redesigned, for example, where the teams for the Competition section are received by the festival director. They relax in this intimate and comfortable retreat, which insiders refer to as “Dieter Kosslick’s living room”, prior to the official Berlinale press conferences. This space has been completely redesigned by the Rolf Benz interior team.
Furthermore, Rolf Benz will furnish the lounge areas in the Potsdamer Platz arcades and a few areas in the Berlinale headquarters with lifestyle furniture from the Black Forest. The fact that festival director Dieter Kosslick comes from Pforzheim on the northern edge of the Black Forest is a pleasing connection.
In addition to other furniture, the Rolf Benz TONDO and NUVOLA sofa ranges are used in Berlin. Both creations have won design awards and enable you to enjoy upholstered furniture in all situations owing to their extensive layouts. "Comfy", as the Germans would say.
