Rolf Benz 520: Clear design statement with hidden values

The simple shape of the cube is the starting point for the new Rolf Benz 520 sofa range. The constant height of the back and the sides all the way around defines the classic look of designer Norbert Beck’s design. Tall back cushions with perfect upholstery and multifunctionality that is invisible at first sight lighten the rectilinear strictness and offer a variety of positions for sitting and relaxing.

An innovative, patented adjustment option makes the sofa a haven for relaxation: When the seat is pulled out into a relaxed seating position, the backrest automatically moves with it, therefore also shifting its inclination towards relaxation. As a result, two different relaxing positions can be set and locked. Pulling the seat out all the way also allows the back upholstery to be laid flat in the horizontal position. This creates a full surface for resting with sufficient space for two people to have a relaxing sleep. The sofa with the classic, long-lasting design skilfully conceals its function as a guest bed. Three foot variants can be selected to match the décor of the room: Wooden brace legs, matt or gloss chrome metal runners or metal feet, also with matt or gloss chrome finish. 

Rolf Benz 520 is available with the innovative adjustment function in a width of 240 cm and is perfectly complemented by an ottoman. The sofa is also available in widths of 199 and 220 cm without adjustment options for customers who wish to concentrate on the clear design statement the sofa represents.
